No snow on the Gulf coast just many cloudy days. I have not seen any since that Christmas Eve night of 2004, when 7 inches fell covering the ground and dry grass and my heart. So curious how the ocean and the beach might look, I put on a thick sweater, a winter jacket, long johns, and an extra warm pair of pants and we hit the road only to hit an ice-patch on the approach to highway. The car started to spin like crazy and we almost crushed after covering but few hundred yards. And then I came to senses
rain falls on rain
alone at home
I water her plants

There are still roadways about here that are narrower than they should be, because of the snow still on them. |
